The student loan is awarded regardless of age, field of study and number of semesters. In addition, foreign students can also apply for a student loan. The only condition is that you are enrolled at one of our member universities. Therefore: please check in advance whether you are enrolled at one of our partner universities.

Submit application on the desired date. The loan or disbursement start date is possible at any month.
Online credit application

If technical errors occur when filling out the online credit application, you can find the credit application as a PDF print version at Forms. In this case, you would have to fill out the credit application by handwriting.
Then have the guarantee(s) notarized. The certification can be done free of charge by the staff of the Studentische Darlehnskasse e.V.. For this purpose, the guarantor(s) must personally come to the office of the Studentische Darlehnskasse e.V. with the identification documents (identity card or passport plus certificate of registration) during office hours (Phone hours: Monday 09:00 - 12:00 o'clock and Wednesday 18:00 - 20:00 o'clock ).
In addition, all seal-keeping agencies - notaries public, county and municipal offices, parish offices, selected health insurance companies, schools, and federal agencies - may certify the surety bond.

The application can be dropped in the mailbox or sent in original by mail. Please send the letter by registered mail as registered mail.

Approximately 1-2 days after the application has been approved, the loan contract can be signed in the offices of the Studentische Darlehenskasse e.V.. The identity card or passport (plus certificate of registration) must be brought to the signing of the contract. A current certificate of study must also be presented.

After signing the loan agreement, the first disbursement is instructed by us in the same month, sometimes even on the same day.
